Artist’s Bio: Joan is a native Vermonter with a lifelong appreciation for small town community life and the natural settings that come with living in New England. Joan is known for her atmospheric scenes, often of Vermont, with fascinating special effects on watercolor paper.
Her primary education in this medium has been through workshops and disciplined practice. Joan has taught private and group lessons, adult classes at Frog Hollow, and student watercolor lessons through the "SOAR" after school arts program.
Joan is an exhibiting member of the Brandon Artists Guild in Brandon, VT and the Frog Hollow Art and Craft Center in Burlington, VT.
